The laboratory is seeking a candidate with an ambitious and innovative experimental research project in soft matter physics, connected to the research themes of the Institut Charles Sadron (ICS, CNRS UPR 22).
The successful candidate will contribute to general physics teaching at the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and Master’s levels, as well as to more specialized courses, for example in thermodynamics, soft matter, and at the interface with chemistry and biology. Teaching will be conducted in French as well as in English.
This position is part of the development of research in soft matter physics at the interface with physical chemistry and chemistry. The candidate is expected to demonstrate strong expertise in the study of complex systems (polymers, membranes, colloids, non-equilibrium/active systems, etc.) and to place particular emphasis on innovative experimental approaches, including efforts in interpretation and/or modeling.
The candidate will integrate into the interdisciplinary environment of the Institut Charles Sadron and will actively contribute to local, national, and international collaborative projects.
